Aroid palm is a large, sesonly dormant evergreen tender perennial native to africa. It's also called ZZ plant as an abbreviation of its its latin name.The leaves are feathery, and have a glossy, fleshy texture. The plant grows berry-like fruits after female flowers. Flowers grow occasionaly. Best planted in well drained soil, regularly watered, and in partial shade. But survive in drought areas in full sun as well. It does very well indoors in containers.
