It is generally a woody shrub, or a climbing vine. It reaches to a height of 8-10 m , growing approximately 30-60 cm year.Jasmine leaves are evergreen. The leaf arrangement is opposite pinnate with nine leaflets, each up to 5-7 cm .It bears white flowers which are 2-3 cm. Petals have strong and sweet fragrance. Flowering takes place in summer or spring, usually six months after planting. The plant can be used as a hedge, along fences, walls or pergolas. The plant has medicinal properties and used in the parfume industry.Little pruning needed, to develop a strong structure, and not suceptible to pests and diseases.
