Wheeler's Sotol gives an incredible sculpture look into your landscape. Growing a dense rosette of foliage is usually stemless but very mature specimens might develop a short trunk-like base,even though this is rarely seen in cultivated landscapes . The leaves are extremely spiky at the tip, that's why it's not recommended to have next to pets. The plant can flower after 7-10 years . The flower looks like a large stick. Unlike many other agave it doesn't die after flowering. Used in desert garden, and does not require any maintenance.
