Umbrella plant is a favorite element in tropical or subtropical pond- side gardens. Upright, evergreen perennial is native to Madagascar. The plant produces light green leaves where the leaflets are growing from the same spot . The pale brown flowers appear in the mid summer. Plant it in full sun or partial shade. It is adapted to wet or moist soil . Has an ivasive potential, but not suceptible to pests and diseases.
