Agave attenuata 30cm

Foxtail agave forms a rosette with smooth bluish green leaves. The only agave with a nice soft leaf edge . After twenty years the central rosette will bloom in early spring and produce a long spike which will arch and dip which explains to common name. After flowering the plant will die but meantime it will produce many offsets on the side. This plant can be grown in full sun along the coast or in dry inland valleys. This is a naturally drought resistant species, but with some watering will help to grow better and look nicer.Do not need pruning at alland is not suceptible to pests and diseases.
